When we met with owners Glen and Amanda and their Manager Tegan to talk rebrand ideas, we chatted about capturing the essence of the venue and its unique qualities. ‘The Hideaway’ as it is affectionately know, is located in one of the Sunshine Coast’s most picturesque settings. Surrounded by lush deep green rainforest accented with several stunning ceremony locations spotted throughout the property with rustic timber arbours & seating, Hideaway Weddings is the ultimate rainforest wedding venue.
The aim with the colour palette was to tie in with the stunning venue backdrop and to also be calming and neutral enough to not be in contest with any of the themes of the weddings that are held there. We were mindful to have a colour palette that would also work perfectly with black or white in awareness of the hospitality industry’s staple colours . The Hideaway team wanted contemporary, romantic and relaxed to be the overarching qualities of the rebrand. We achieved this with a deep green, sage and grey complimented with soft pale green and white accents.
The leafy branch icon in the logo and throughout the brand assets, is minimalistic yet captures the essence of the venue aptly & compliments the colour palette.
The rainforest theme and feel is carried through the branding collateral and online platforms effectively by keeping simplicity and neutrality. The venue proudly showcases amazing images taken by the photographers who know that Hideaway Weddings is the perfect backdrop for some truly breathtaking shots. It’s easy to tie this in with the new brand elements and these are used to further accentuate the brand in a cohesive and professional way.
The website, featuring this imagery and brand alignment is beautiful to the eye and fully customised with advanced personalised functionality, ease of navigation and second-to-none design features.
