Meet Sonja

Photographer

Sonja has worked as a professional photographer in various parts of the world over the past 15 years and is happily based on the Sunshine Coast in QLD, Australia. She carries skills and experience across a range of technical and creative photographic disciplines including Fashion, Portraiture, Food, Product Photography, Fine Art and Interiors.

Sonja loves collaborating with clients who are looking to boost their visual online presence with a collection of photographs that “can really work together to create a strong, memorable brand”.

Her love for natural light and an intuitive, evocative style for her portraiture and lifestyle work has led her to shoot Campaigns for clients seeking to create a compelling and strong visual narrative for their businesses.

Sonja graduated with a degree (Cum Laude) in Photography and Visual Communications in 2004 and went on to shoot commissions around the world including in South Africa, New York and Europe. She has exhibited numerous Fine Art shows revealing her own personal style and love for the natural world. Her most successful show to date – “Bullethole Sunrise, an exploration of memory” also included a published coffee table book to go alongside the body of work and was stocked in bookstores around the country.

In her spare time, Sonja loves to surf Noosa’s iconic points with her boys and hang out in front of a fire with friends.
